Career Coaching

Sometimes we all need a little guidance from someone who's been there and done it

If you have big career plans and want an independent perspective on how to achieve them...

If you’ve reached the next rung of a career ladder that’s revealed a world you feel unprepared for…

If you’ve made the leap from managing people to leading and realized the gulf between the two…

If you feel it would be much easier if you could talk to someone who understood the politics of corporate life…

If sometimes it would be a relief to have a partner for the big decisions…

A mentor can help with all these situations and more. The most effective mentor is one with no direct influence or vested interest in your job or performance, because they should be a person you can be entirely honest with about you own development needs, without judgment or fear of repercussions. A good mentor wants not to replicate themselves in you, but to share their learning so that you can choose what you apply and how. They don’t take personally the advice they give you that’s put aside, because they understand that their role is to add tools to your tool box, not to select which one to use.
